Top 10 Tuesday: Titles That Would Make Good Band Names

Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Hey everyone!!

I am back with my 2nd Top 10 Tuesday! I think these are so fun! I decided to participate this week because the prompt was hilarious and I had so much fun looking for answers to it!

This week’s prompt was…. book titles that would make good band names!

How fun is that?!?! Check out my answers below 👇🏻

  1. Sanctum by Madeline Roux
  2. The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
  3. The Diviners by Libba Bray
  4. The Shadows by Alex North
  5. The Extraordinaries by T.J. Klune
  6. Bell Hammers by Lancelot Schaubert
  7. Saint X by Alexis Schaitkin
  8. White Stag by Kara Barbieri
  9. Kept Animals by Kate Milliken
  10. The Stone Boys by Michael Gurian

I feel like Sanctum, The Iron King, and Kept Animals sound very “metal” lol.

The Shadows, Bell Hammers, White Stag, and The Stone Boys are totally rock-n-roll!!

The Diviners and The Extraordinaries sound more like a pop band to me but could totally also be rock bands.

Saint X might not totally be a band name per say – it could be, but also strikes me as more of a rapper name 🤷‍♀️

So I don’t know why but my brain just went straight to like rock-n-roll and like metal band names??? I do not know why, maybe it was easier? Anyways, this was fun and honestly hilarious that my brain went straight for hard core names for a rock band 😂

What do you think of any answers? What book names do you think would make good band names? Chat with me in the comments!

Spell It: November

Happy Wednesday my bookish buds 🙂

Okay so my reading for November has been really slow and I’m super disappointed about that 😦 I had great hopes and a list of books to get through and now it’s looking like I’ll only get through 2 books! Oh well.

I have been super busy lately because……. I adopted a cute little kitten!! Her name is Luna and she is 9 weeks old. She has taken up all of my free time which I am 100% okay with. She is crazy and hyper and such a cute little cuddler when she’s sleepy. She does not sleep at night and keeps me and my boyfriend up a lot lol SO TIRED! Parents must be exhausted all the time I can’t even imagine haha!

I’ll post some cute Luna pics at the end of this post 🙂

SO… today! I saw a blog post before that used book titles to spell words – like those poems we all had to do in school (Google says this is an acrostic poem lol). Anyways I liked the idea and thought it was fun so I figured I’d give it a try!

The word I am using is: NOVEMBER

N – Now Entering Addamsville – Francesca Zappia

O – Our Wayward Fate – Gloria Chao

V– Verify – Joelle Charbonneau

E – Elevation – Stephen King

M – My Summer Of Love And Misfortune – Lindsay Wong

B – Break In Case Of Emergency – Brian Francis

E – Every Breath – Nicholas Sparks

R – Rebel Girls – Elizabeth Keenan

That was fun! I am going to try to do more of these posts and I want to give those making a sentence with book titles as well!! That one would be much harder haha.

As promised here are some cute pictures of my little kitten Luna!!

Well that is all for today everyone 🙂 Hope you are having a great week!!

Lets chat in the comments! Have you read any of the books I used for spelling November? Now Entering Addamsville is high on my TBR list!!
